Life as an author

In 1996, she concluded her career as a librarian at Columbia University, marking the end of a chapter in her life.


Thereafter, she started a new journey as an author, sharing her remarkable life story and her family's history through a series of books. Her literary journey commenced with works such as "My Father Prince Ui," followed by "The Last Imperial Memory," and "The Last Imperial Family of Korea." Through her writing, she illuminated the rich tapestry of her family's experiences and her own extraordinary life.

Participation in Korean American community

Presently, imbued with a deep sense of pride in her Korean heritage, she plays an active role in various initiatives within Korean communities, she plays an active role in various initiatives within Korean communities, including efforts to recover lost cultural heritage from the Japanese colonial era, delivering lectures that reflect her extraordinary life experiences, and engaging in numerous volunteer activities to support the Senior Korean American community.
